When the episode is over, I will go back to my notes, fix them up a bit and update part by part on each recap post while waiting for the torrents. I will be trying to capture as much as possible while I am watching the episode. I can’t post updates while the drama is airing, unless the episode is moving slowly. When and how will Eun Sang, Won, and Young Do open up to Tan? We now know where all their fear and anger is coming from, and I am ready for this third chapter of the drama that will explore their struggles to fight against their own prejudice and open their hearts.
Yes, it makes her prickly and sometimes unreasonable towards Eun Sang, but Eun Sang understands where Bo Na is coming from. In this way, Bo Na is quite an awesome character, unafraid to love wholeheartedly and passionately, open to getting hurt and willing to fight hard. Poor Tan, getting rejected by all those people. Eun Sang won’t open up to Tan, Won won’t up to Tan, Young Do rejected Tan’s friendship because he was ashamed, and Hyun Joo has built a barrier against Won. When you love, you open yourself up to pain it makes you vulnerable. I see loneliness as a big theme in this drama people who are alone because 1) there is no one to love them, and 2) they shun those who want to love them because they are afraid of getting hurt.
